Happy Assembly creates a joyful and inclusive space where students experience yoga through cultural exchange, creativity, friendship and shared expression. It gives participants from different countries an opportunity to celebrate their traditions, learn from one another and build a supportive international yogic community.
During this teacher training course, you will experience and learn:
✅ How to wear traditional Nepali clothing and choose appropriate cultural dress for different ceremonies and celebrations
✅ The meaning and respectful practice of selected Nepali and Himalayan customs, rituals and traditions
✅ How to prepare natural incense and understand its traditional use in yogic and spiritual ceremonies
✅ Traditional Nepali cultural dances and their role in festivals and community celebrations
✅ Yoga dance combining asana, conscious breathing, rhythm, mindful movement and creative expression
✅ Singing, Bhajan and mantra chanting in a joyful and supportive group environment
✅ How music, dance and chanting can release tension, create positive energy and strengthen community connection
✅ Opportunities to present and celebrate the traditional dress, dance, music, songs, rituals and cultural practices of your own country
✅ How to organise an international cultural program that encourages mutual respect and celebrates diversity
✅ Seasonal Nepali Festival Celebrations: Participate in the special Nepali festival that falls during your training month, such as Dashain, Tihar, Holi, Teej, Maha Shivaratri or Buddha Jayanti
✅ The cultural and spiritual significance of each celebrated festival, including its traditional dress, rituals, music, dance, food and community activities
✅ Tea Talk: Sit together in a relaxed setting to share emotions, experiences, challenges and personal reflections openly
✅ How to listen to others with patience, empathy, respect and without judgement
✅ Creative group activities that help reduce shyness and develop confidence in self-expression
✅ How to cultivate friendship, cooperation, trust and a sense of belonging among students from different cultures
✅ How to practise Karma Yoga through selfless participation, cooperation and service to the group
✅ How to plan and lead cultural, musical and creative activities in yoga classes, retreats, schools and wellness programs
✅ How joyful participation supports emotional well-being, social connection and the practical experience of yoga as a way of life
