Yogesh Pokhrel is an experienced Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Meditation and Sound Healing teacher from Nepal. With a Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy from S-VYASA University, along with extensive teacher training and study in yoga, meditation and sound-healing traditions in Nepal and India, he has spent many years integrating ancient yogic wisdom, practical experience and scientific understanding into his teaching.
For around 15 years, Yogesh has followed a dedicated yogic and spiritual lifestyle, teaching students from around the world while continuing his own practice, study and writing. His particular interest is in understanding how yoga, meditation, breathwork, relaxation, singing bowls, gongs and vibrational practices can be combined into systematic sequences for meditation and holistic well-being. Drawing on his science-oriented educational background, he also seeks to explain traditional concepts in relation to contemporary scientific knowledge and research, while recognizing where traditional teachings and modern evidence represent different ways of understanding the practice.
His personal philosophy is based on two simple principles: living without unnecessary expectations and fulfilling the genuine needs of life rather than endlessly pursuing wants. Alongside his teaching, he is currently working toward establishing a spiritual foundation where sincere students can access yoga, meditation and spiritual practices with less financial pressure.
